Competition Schedule

Eight Regular print, slide and digital projector competitions are held annually at the Westchester Photographic Society, usually on the third Friday evening of the month, from September through May. Members may compete in separate Black & White Prints, Color Prints, Color Slides, B&W Digital Projector and Color Digital Projector categories and at two levels of experience (B or Salon). In addition three Open Mind print and three digital projector competeitions are held annually. Awards are given for the winners of each monthly competition and for the cumulated points total of the eight Regular competitions and the three Open Mind competitions. An End-of-Season competition is held in June from entries previously submitted in the Regular competitions. Entries must be submitted prior to 7:50 P.M. on the evening of the competitions. Entries for the Digital Projector categories must be submitted by email one week prior to the competition. Competitions begin at 8:00 P.M. in the Technology Building of the main campus of Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY. Click here for travel directions and a map of the area. Come and visit – Guests are Welcome at all meeting with the exception of the model sessions. Only members may enter work into exhibits, competitions and critique sessions.
