The CamStudio Recorder software crashed a lot on my system and didn't capture the brush size so I changed to a different free program called Microsoft Expression Encoder 4. The free version limits my screen capture videos to 10 minutes in length.

For the moment I have decided to just accept the 10 minute limitation of the Microsoft Expression Encorder 4 and live with the smaller file sizes.
