About Image Size

The Image size in inches is determined by the number of horizontal and vertical pixels and the pixels per inch. This combination gives a unique file size. (say 14.4 MBytes).
Most digital cameras store the image at 72 pixels per inch which is typical monitor resolution for an Apple monitor.
To fit the image on a choosen paper size just enter make the image length less than or equal to the length of the paper with the Resampe box unchecked. The resolution will increase to maintain the same file size. Ideally, 300 dpi is adequate for most ink jet printers.
