Print Marking Guide
1. Prints
must be mounted on a rigid support.
2. Prints may or may not be matted.
3. Prints may not be framed.
4. No writing may appear on the front side of the mounted print.
5. A completed print label must be securely attached with tape to the
upper left corner on the back side of the mounted print.
6. On the label (see example at top left), check the appropriate circle
for the type of print and the group level; enter the competition number,
the date of the competition, the title of the print and the maker's name.
7. The minimum size for a photograph (not the mount size) is 5 x 7 inches.
8. The maximum size for the mounted print (not the photograph size) is
20 inches high by 48 inches long.
9. Mats and photographs must be securely attached to the mount board so
that they do not separate during the competition.
10. A page of four print labels may be obtained for downloading or printing

or from the competition
chairman at any meeting.
